Register Your Computer
It can not be emphasised enough how important it is to keep your computer secured so that it doesn’t get stolen. It’s best to keep it in a lockable area or to use a locking plate or tie to secure it to a desk, wall or the floor. Don't leave your computer unattended and unsecured, even for a brief time. You should also keep your original receipts and register your computer with Public Safety so that in the event that you lose your computer, or it is stolen, and you have to file a police report and/or an insurance claim, all the proper information is on file.
